Faced with exploding demand, Ledger wants to step up a gear. In this sense, the French company specializing in the security of crypto-assets offers itself an extension of 100 million euros. It is still valued at 1.3 billion euros.
To accelerate its development, the company is today announcing a fundraising of 100 million euros, which will increase its series C funding round to 456 million euros. On this occasion, Ledger welcomes new investors to its capital, such as Cathay Innovation, Cap Horn and Korelya Capital, Fleur Pellerin's fund. With this addition, the valuation of the tricolor company remains unchanged, at 1.3 billion euros.
With the cascade of scandals hitting the cryptocurrency market, the French unicorn has seen its sales soar. In this context, the company approaches the coming months with serenity. "2022 has been an exceptional year for Ledger, culminating in the launch of Ledger Stax at the Ledger Op3n event in Paris. This year, our ambitions remain intact: to enable as many people as possible to become owners of their assets digital, in complete security", declared Pascal Gauthier, CEO of Ledger, on the occasion of the announcement of the fundraising.
