Well... my goal of turning $30 into $100 in 7 days lasted about two days.
When I started, my Total PnL was around -$95. Now it's at -$130, and I've lost everything I had in my futures account.
I only started trading futures about two months ago, and honestly, I had no idea what I was doing at first. I got lucky, had a nice winning streak, and started making money pretty consistently.
Then a few bad trades wiped it all out.
So for now, I'm stepping away from futures until I can save up some money again. In the meantime, I want to actually learn more about trading instead of just jumping into positions and hoping for the best.
Up until now, I was doing pretty much everything on my phone, mostly just looking at the Binance chart. When I come back, I'm going to trade from my PC instead and keep TradingView, Binance, CoinGlass, and whatever else I need open on my monitor.
Another mistake I made was breaking my own leverage rule.
I was supposed to stay at 20x or lower, but once my balance got smaller, I got impatient and started using 40x.
That obviously didn't end well.
After actually going through the experience of losing my entire futures balance, I really don't want to make that mistake again. Next time, I'm sticking to 20x leverage or less.
For now, I'm just going to work, save some money, and come back when I'm ready.
Hopefully, when I do come back, I can slowly make back some of the losses I've taken so far.
Also, somehow that post got over 20,000 views, which is crazy to me because most of my posts don't even reach 100 views.
I'm guessing this one will probably get less than 100 too lol.
I definitely wrote way too much this time.
