Tesla’s Optimus suppliers in China have already received orders 🇨🇳
And now Tesla is checking whether their production lines are ready to scale
Tesla’s robotics team is auditing suppliers across China’s Yangtze River Delta, including:
• Tuopu Group
• Sanhua Intelligent Controls
• Joyson Electronics
The important part:
According to a supply-chain source cited by The Paper, all three had already received Tesla humanoid-robot orders before these audits even began
They supply critical components including joint modules, actuators and precision structural parts
Tesla is now going deep into production-line quality and compliance, with the source saying production will begin quickly once the lines pass
And the audits go beyond Ningbo, extending into Hangzhou, Shanghai and other parts of the Yangtze River Delta
This is starting to look much less like Optimus development...
and much more like preparation to manufacture Optimus Gen 3 at scale
