Today I learned one of the hardest lessons in crypto trading.
A few days ago, I started with only $7.
Through a series of consecutive winning trades, my account grew to around $412 in just 5 days.
I was excited. I thought I had finally figured it out.
Then greed entered the picture.
Instead of keeping the same leverage and risk management that had brought me there, I increased my leverage to 20×.
One bad move later, the entire account was wiped out.
I didn't lose because crypto suddenly stopped working.
I lost because I changed my risk after becoming confident.
That experience taught me something important:
📌 A winning streak doesn't make you invincible.
📌 Higher leverage doesn't guarantee faster profits—it also brings liquidation closer.
📌 Protecting your capital can be more important than chasing another big gain.
I'm starting again, but this time my goal isn't simply to make the biggest profit possible.
It's to survive long enough to keep learning.
