SpaceX has secured an additional $946 million contract from NASA to carry out three more crewed flights to the International Space Station

SpaceX will fly:

• Crew-15
• Crew-16
• Crew-17

After the Space Shuttle retired, America went nearly a decade without the ability to launch its own astronauts from U.S. soil

Then Elon restored that capability back to America in 2020 with Space X Falcon 9 Dragon

Now NASA is locking in even more Dragon missions through 2030

That brings SpaceX’s contracted NASA crew rotation missions to 17 and pushes the total value of its Commercial Crew contract to $5.92B

The new deal covers everything from launch and orbital operations to cargo, return, recovery and Dragon remaining docked as an emergency lifeboat for the crew

Falcon 9 + Dragon have become a critical part of America’s human spaceflight infrastructure
