PPP monitoring showed that on Polymarket, the probability of a 25-basis-point Federal Reserve rate hike in October rose to 54%, up 7% over 24 hours. The probability of no change fell to 46%, down 8% over 24 hours.

According to Odaily, a senior government official previously said Kevin Warsh could face closer scrutiny from U.S. President Donald Trump and his advisers if the Fed decides to raise rates again in October, ahead of the midterm elections. The official also said Trump's description of a hostile Fed committee could lead investors to question whether Warsh is leading the Fed or being led by it.
