Yesterday I wrote about BTC holding $76K while ETF money left. Today the picture flipped — partially.
BTC climbed back above $78,000, recovering from an overnight dip to $75,972. It's the third straight day of gains. Total crypto market cap rose 2% to roughly $2.66 trillion.
The interesting part isn't BTC. It's HYPE.
Hyperliquid's token led the move, up over 11% to near $89. ZEC added 8%. SOL gained 6%. BNB and DOGE each rose about 4%. XRP, ETH, and BTC trailed with roughly 2% gains.
This is what sector rotation looks like in practice. Money leaving BTC isn't sitting idle. It's flowing into higher-beta tokens. HYPE is the clearest example — a token tied to a derivatives platform that actually generates revenue.
FxPro's analyst called it "cautious rotation into altcoins." $76K is now the line. Stay above it, and the rotation has fuel. Lose it, and HYPE and SOL get hit hardest.
