order for Boeing 787 jets
Malaysia Aviation Group is close to ordering approximately ten Boeing 787-10 Dreamliner aircraft as part of efforts to update its long-distance fleet, Bloomberg reported Friday, citing people familiar with the discussions.
Boeing won out over Airbus (EPA:AIR) by providing earlier delivery slots beginning in 2031, according to some of the people cited by Bloomberg. GE Aviation-- a longtime Boeing partner-- also offered more favorable terms on engines compared with Rolls-Royce Holdings the Bloomberg report said
