#MemeLaunchpads82%OfArcDayOneVolume

Arc launched yesterday.

And the first thing that hit me wasn’t the $410.8M in DEX volume.

It was where that volume actually came from.

Around 82% — roughly $336.3M — came from meme-coin launchpads.

That’s a strange first impression for a chain Circle positioned around financial markets, real-time money movement and machine-driven economic activity.

The market didn’t wait for the institutional story.

It went straight for the casino door.

One launchpad, Arguspad, processed about $202.35M alone and minted 83,751 tokens out of roughly 97,025 tokens created on day one. Arc also processed about 7.76M transactions.

That tells me something crypto-native people understand immediately:

Liquidity follows opportunity before it follows narrative.

Institutions may have been part of Arc’s long-term design.

But on launch day, traders found a faster reason to use the chain.

And that’s the detail I’ll be watching.

Not whether Arc can print another giant day.

Whether the activity is still there after the fresh-token frenzy cools down.

Because first-day volume can show you where traders went.

The next few weeks should show us why they stayed.
