We all depend on the world to survive every day. The food we eat, the water we drink, and the air we breathe are directly related to the environment. However, recently, the world has become increasingly polluted due to the dumping of garbage everywhere, the excessive use of plastic, and the unnecessary cutting of trees. To change this situation, everyone should start from where they can.

First of all, it is important not to throw garbage everywhere. It may seem like a small piece of garbage on the street is not a big deal, but if everyone does the same thing, everywhere will be filled with garbage. Therefore, we should put garbage in the trash can and dispose of it properly. We should also help clean up our own homes, schools, and neighborhoods.

Another thing is to reduce the use of plastic. Plastic bags and disposable water bottles are easy to use and throw away, which is bad for the environment. If possible, use reusable bags and water bottles. This is not a difficult thing, but something that can be done by changing a small habit in our daily lives.

Planting trees is also important.  Trees clean the air and reduce heat stress. So, we should not cut down trees unnecessarily, but plant as many trees as we can. Even if you don't have much space at home, you can plant small trees. Planting and watering a small tree is also a good habit to get closer to nature.

We should not waste water, electricity, and natural resources. We should avoid leaving the water running while brushing our teeth, or leaving lights on when no one is in the room. Small habits like turning off lights and water when we don't need them are small, but they are beneficial if many people do it together.

In fact, it is not only governments and organizations that can do this to clean up the world. Ordinary people like us can also do what we can. If you see a piece of garbage in front of your house, pick it up and put it in the trash, tell your friends not to litter, and don't destroy trees.

Cleaning up the world is not a task that can be done in a day. Everyone should take care of it a little every day. We should start by showing good habits without thinking about what will happen if we do it alone.  If one person becomes two, and two becomes many, the world will gradually become cleaner.

So, we all have a responsibility to keep the world a clean and green place. Starting today, let's start making it a good habit to not litter, use less plastic, plant trees and take care of the environment. The world we preserve today will be the home of future generations.
