Bitcoin is holding around $78K after a volatile session. It briefly pushed above $79K yesterday, then pulled back as the market braces for two big events: the CLARITY Act procedural vote in the Senate and the FOMC decision tomorrow.
The 10-year Treasury yield broke above 5% intraday. Oil spiked toward $110 on Middle East supply concerns before pulling back. Over $250 million in crypto positions were liquidated in 12 hours, with shorts taking most of the hit — $178 million of that was short liquidations, which helped fuel the bounce off the lows.
Fear & Greed Index jumped to 69, up from 57 yesterday.
What I'm watching: $77K is near-term support. $79K-$80K is the first real resistance. A break above $82K would open more upside. Everything hinges on the CLARITY Act vote today and the Fed tomorrow.
