A vast number of blockchains were created in 2014, but nearly all the networks that debuted alongside $DGB have since vanished. Rather than issuing formal closure announcements, the bulk of these projects silently halted their block production many years in the past. Ultimately, maintaining continuous operations over the long haul has proven to be the greatest challenge.
