$SLX is down roughly 90% from its June all-time high, but the more interesting story isn't the crash — it's whether Solstice is quietly building a different kind of demand engine underneath the token.

SLX trades around $0.068 with a ~$16.5M circulating market cap, while roughly 242.85M of the 1B total supply is circulating. That means the market is still valuing the fully diluted supply at about $68M.

Here's the part I think deserves more attention: SLX's utility is designed around staking. Staked SLX becomes stSLX, which can provide priority access to YieldVault capacity, redemption advantages, Nexus functionality and eventually governance weight. In other words, holding the token and actually using the protocol are supposed to become increasingly connected.

But supply is the obvious counterweight.

The next scheduled unlock is September 25: about 17.3M SLX, equal to 1.7% of total supply and roughly 6.3% of current market cap. More importantly, about 72.5% of total supply remains locked across future vesting events extending to May 2029.

Meanwhile, Solstice has been expanding beyond a simple yield narrative, launching products such as strcUSX and integrating USX into Zebec's payroll ecosystem.

That's the real test for SLX: can growing protocol utility absorb a token supply that is still expanding rapidly?

The next unlock may tell us more about real demand than another short-term price pump ever could.#BTC☀️
