The implied volatility (IV) of $IBIT.ETF options, linked to the Bitcoin ETF, has reportedly dropped from 45.1 to 28.3, reaching its lowest level.
In other words, not only the $BTC market itself, but also the ETF options market is currently pricing in relatively limited price volatility.
※ Lower IV generally means the market is pricing in smaller expected price fluctuations.
It will be interesting to watch how ETF market participants continue to price Bitcoin’s volatility risk going forward.
