Good morning, everyone. Hope you're waking up with good energy, ready to push through midweek 🙌
Today TRXS starts trading on Cboe.
My first reaction was just "oh, TRON has an ETF now." But once I actually read into the details, I understood why this is bigger than it sounds.
Before this, if you wanted to hold TRX and earn staking rewards, you had to set up your own wallet, manage your own private key, and handle the staking process yourself. For anyone new to crypto, that alone was enough to hold them back.
This ETF removes all of that. You just buy it through a regular brokerage account like any other stock, and the staking rewards flow into the fund automatically. You never have to touch a validator.
What I find more interesting than the ETF itself is who's standing behind it. BitGo custodies the TRX, U.S. Bank handles the cash side, it trades on Cboe, and it all sits under SEC oversight. This isn't some side project. This is TRON connecting directly into the traditional U.S. financial system for real.
Will the price move sharply today? I honestly can't say. What's really worth watching is how much money flows into the fund after it starts trading, because that's the real signal of whether institutional investors are taking TRON seriously.
The actual return will depend on the TRX price, the fund's fees, and how much capital actually flows in after launch. This isn't investment advice, so do your own research before making any decisions.
