Two major altcoins are attracting institutional attention, but their stories are very different.

🟣 ETHEREUM

ETH $ETH is consolidating around $2,450–$2,500 after a strong August.

The key level I’m watching is $2,500.

🟢 If ETH reclaims $2,500 with strong volume:

$2,650 → $2,800 become potential areas to watch.

🔴 If ETH repeatedly rejects $2,500 and loses support:

The bullish setup weakens and a deeper pullback becomes possible.

Now XRP.

⚫ XRP $XRP

XRP ETFs reportedly recorded around $110M in weekly inflows, one of the strongest weekly figures of 2026.

Evernoth is also progressing toward a potential Nasdaq listing vote, adding another institutional angle to the XRP narrative.

But again, I’m not buying simply because ETF inflows are strong.

I want price confirmation.

🟢 XRP bullish setup:

Support holds → resistance breaks → volume increases → continuation.

🔴 XRP bearish setup:

Major support breaks despite positive news → sellers are stronger than the narrative.

That’s the important lesson:

Good news does not automatically mean higher price.

My watchlist:

ETH → $2,500 reclaim

XRP → support + breakout confirmation
