$6.4B EXPIRES FRIDAY. YOUR ACCOUNT DOESN'T CARE ABOUT THE NUMBER. $BTC $ETH
81,700 contracts. $80K battleground. Max pain at $68K.
Everyone in this thread is explaining the mechanics. I want to ask a different question.
If you're holding leverage into Friday's expiry — why?
Not "what's the setup." Why are YOU in it.
Is it because you have an edge, a plan, a stop already placed?
Or because BTC ran from $62K to $80K without you, and now you're afraid of missing the next leg?
I know that second feeling. I traded 29,401 times chasing it. It never once asked how badly I needed it to work.
Options expiries don't create volatility out of nothing. They pull it out of whoever's already overexposed when the pin snaps one way or the other.
Friday isn't the danger. Your position size going into Friday is the danger.
Check your leverage before the candle checks it for you.
