Zerohash is back for round 2 with the OCC trust bank charter application. First attempt got rejected, so they're coming in with a narrower scope this time.

This matters because:

• OCC charter = legitimacy in tradfi eyes
• Narrower scope = higher approval odds but less operational flexibility
• If approved, could open doors for more crypto firms to get regulated banking rails

Watch this space. If Zerohash gets through, expect a wave of similar applications. If they get rejected again, it signals the OCC still isn't ready to play ball with crypto infrastructure.
