#dusk $DUSK @Dusk
I’ve been digging into Dusk and noticed almost half the supply is locked up – the site even boasts “210M+ $DUSK staked securing the network”. That means far fewer tokens are actually trading, yet most chatter still treats DUSK like any other privacy coin. But Dusk isn’t just another Monero clone. As Binance’s research noted, Dusk’s ambition “goes far beyond ‘privacy chain’” – it’s aiming to be a regulated-market infrastructure, essentially a blockchain version of a Central Securities Depository. This nuance is missing in most crypto forums.
What really stands out is how quietly @Dusk is connecting with real finance.
For example, the Dutch exchange NPEX is already issuing and settling securities on Dusk’s smart contracts. You won’t see that in price charts, but it means future demand could come from institutional trading and compliance use-cases, not just retail hype. In other words, network utility might be growing “off-chain” (at least to us crypto users), even as on-chain volume looks small.
Why does this matter? Because if regulators approve frameworks like DLT-TSS, Dusk could pick up real business (each on-chain settlement needs #DUSK for fees and staking). Right now the market seems to shrug at these developments – it’s focused on hype instead. In my view, that’s a mispricing. I’ve actually been staking my DUSK and treating it more like a specialized bond than a day-trading token. Call it contrarian, but until big partners start using the chain, I’m watching regulatory milestones and staking yield, not price tags.
