I just finished reading more about Dusk, and one thing kept coming back to me…
Why do people act like privacy and regulation can’t exist together?
I mean, think about traditional finance for a second.
Banks need to follow rules. Regulators need to verify things. Businesses need compliance.
But that doesn’t mean everyone should be able to see every little detail about a financial transaction.
That’s where Dusk gets interesting for me.
It’s not really about hiding everything and saying, “just trust me.”
It’s more like, “I’ll prove what needs to be proven, but I don’t need to expose everything else.”
And honestly, that approach makes a lot more sense to me.
If blockchain is ever going to handle serious financial assets, privacy can’t just be an afterthought.
At the same time, traditional finance isn’t going to throw its rules out the window just because blockchain is cool.
So yeah… there’s gotta be some middle ground.
That’s basically what I see Dusk trying to build.
Privacy on one side.
Compliance on the other.
And a blockchain trying to connect the two.
I’m not saying it’s guaranteed to work — nothing in crypto is.
But after looking into $DUSK, I can definitely see why this project is getting my attention.
Sometimes the most interesting ideas aren’t the loudest ones.
They’re the ones quietly solving a problem everyone knows is there. 👀
