Nobody explains support and resistance like it's a normal concept — everyone just uses the words and assumes you'll catch up.
Support = a price level where buyers keep showing up, so it stops falling there.
Resistance = a price level where sellers keep showing up, so it stops rising there.
When price finally breaks through resistance, it often comes back down to "retest" that same level — checking if it's now support instead. If it holds, that's usually a stronger sign than the breakout itself.
Took me way too long to realize charts aren't random zigzags — they're just buyers and sellers fighting at the same price levels, over and over.
not financial advice, just a concept nobody bothered explaining simply.
