Dynamic Beat AI News: Google Cloud has launched both Gemini Enterprise for Financial Services and Gemini Enterprise for Legal simultaneously. These are industry-specific versions built on the Gemini Enterprise platform and are the first two industry editions. Versions for healthcare, life sciences, and other professional services are also in the pipeline. The Financial Services edition primarily serves the capital markets and corporate banking. It features the Financial Research Agent, over 50 financial skills, and 13 data connectors that can directly access data from FactSet, Moody's, MSCI, S&P Global, SEC EDGAR, among others, for purposes such as KYC, credit research, portfolio risk analysis, and bond documentation. Deutsche Bank was involved in the design of the Financial Research Agent and plans to deploy it in the corporate banking division; CME Group has already begun using this financial version of Gemini Enterprise. The Legal edition can connect to legal tools and databases such as Harvey, Legora, Thomson Reuters, iManage, RelativityOne, for tasks like contract review, legal research, citation verification, and regulatory tracking. Existing document permission and case isolation rules from the original system will continue to apply, and customer data will not be used to train Google's underlying models.Google seems to be equipping Gemini Enterprise with an "industry suite" this time. The models serve as the foundation, with a focus on selling industry data, permissions, workflows, and dedicated Agents. Google aims to be the primary entry point for enterprises to access various AI tools.
