Binance announced on X that it will adjust the reward mechanism for stock Meme holdings under Binance Alpha. For Binance Wallet holders, rewards will continue to be distributed automatically by Flap to users’ Binance Wallet on-chain addresses according to Flap’s distribution rules. For Alpha 2.0 holders on CEX, Flap rewards will be sent to the Binance Alpha treasury contract address, after which Binance Alpha will use daily random snapshots to track token holdings and distribute rewards on a monthly basis. Eligible users will receive the previous month’s rewards at the beginning of the following month in their spot accounts. In August, MarsCoin and Niu Lai will still follow the previous mechanism, with rewards distributed at the beginning of September. Because Niu Lai was listed on Alpha 2.0 on August 18, its August holding statistics will be calculated from August 18 to August 31, covering 14 days. MarsCoin rewards will be distributed in SPCXB, while Niu Lai rewards will be distributed in QQQB.

Starting in September, holdings will be calculated under the new mechanism, and the first rewards under that system will be distributed at the beginning of October. Under the new rules, a user must hold more than 10,000 units of a token in a single day for that amount to count as valid daily holdings for that token. A user’s monthly valid holdings will equal the sum of valid daily holdings for the month. Monthly rewards will be allocated based on each user’s share of the total valid holdings of that token among all eligible users. Holdings for each token will be calculated separately, and different tokens will not be combined. If additional tokens are later added to this rule, the same calculation and distribution logic will apply without further notice. Reward eligibility will also remain subject to applicable product and jurisdiction restrictions, including whether a user is eligible to access bStocks on Binance. Reward distribution will be carried out by the token issuer through token contract settings and executed using Flap’s infrastructure. Binance said it only assists with distribution for eligible holders on the platform, and users in restricted jurisdictions are not allowed to participate.
