According to Jin10, Goldman Sachs reiterated that if Gulf LNG exports do not increase further, a European TTF gas price of 65 euros per MWh would not be enough for Europe to manage inventories effectively during the winter. Goldman Sachs estimated that in a scenario where Middle East energy exports gradually normalize only by 2027, the TTF gas price for December 2026 delivery may need to rise above 100 euros per MWh, 110% above its 50-euro baseline scenario, assuming average winter temperatures are normal.
