‎I've been watching $BTC move like this and honestly, I'm still trying to figure out what I'm looking at.

‎At first, I thought the BitcoinStrongestWeekSinceMarch2023#

narrative was simply about momentum.

‎But the more I watch the market react, the less certain I am.

‎It's the change in market behavior around $BTC.

‎When Bitcoin starts putting together a strong weekly move, I usually try not to celebrate too early. The first question I ask is: is this real demand, or just momentum feeding on itself? 🤔

‎One thing that feels different is how quickly sentiment can shift once Bitcoin breaks out of a period of hesitation.

‎Traders who were waiting for confirmation suddenly have a reason to enter. Short positions get squeezed. Liquidity moves higher, and that extra activity can create even more momentum.

‎That's the interesting loop I'm watching:

BTC breaks higher → traders gain confidence → new positions enter → liquidity increases → price discovery accelerates → attention grows → more capital enters.

‎And the reverse can happen just as quickly:

‎Momentum weakens → leveraged positions unwind → selling pressure increases → liquidity thins → price falls faster.

‎That's what makes the current move interesting to me. The same positioning that amplifies the upside can potentially amplify the downside when confidence starts disappearing. 📉

‎The second thing I'm watching is whether Bitcoin's strength can spread beyond Bitcoin itself.

‎If rallies while the broader crypto market remains selective, that tells me something different than a broad-based risk-on move across major assets. I want to see whether capital is actually rotating through the ecosystem or simply concentrating around Bitcoin as the perceived safest crypto trade.

‎But here's what worries me: a strong week can create a dangerous amount of confidence.

‎After a big move, people naturally start extrapolating. One strong week becomes the expectation of another strong week, and suddenly positioning gets crowded.

‎That's where I become more cautious.

‎I'm less interested in predicting the next candle and more interested in watching whether the underlying demand can sustain the move without relying entirely on leverage and short squeezes.

‎The move only becomes durable if spot demand keeps absorbing supply after the leverage-driven momentum fades.

‎For now, I'm not convinced this move has told us what it really is.

‎Maybe we're seeing genuine demand finally break through.

‎Or maybe the market is simply getting better at amplifying its own momentum.

‎And that's the part I'm watching most closely now: what happens when the leverage fades and the excitement cools?

‎Does $BTC keep attracting real spot demand, or does the whole loop start running in reverse?

‎That's the question I don't think the current rally has answered yet. 🤔
