SpaceX’s Falcon launch cadence is absolutely insane
Since Falcon 9 first flew in 2010:
• 681 Falcon 9 launches
• 12 Falcon Heavy launches
• 693 Falcon-family launches combined
665 of those launches happened since 2017
Nearly 96% of Falcon’s entire launch history has happened in roughly the last decade
And 2026 alone already reached 100 Falcon launches by August 22
Falcon has carried:
• Astronauts to orbit
• Thousands of Starlink satellites
• National security payloads
• Commercial satellites
• Lunar spacecraft
• Scientific missions
And SpaceX does all of this while routinely landing the first stage and flying it again
Individual Falcon 9 boosters have now flown 36 TIMES, with the next record flight already targeting #37
SpaceX also passed its 600th Falcon booster landing and 600th reflight of a previously flown booster this year
Rockets used to be expensive machines built for one flight
SpaceX turned them into reusable vehicles operating at industrial scale
No other launch company is operating orbital rockets at anything close to Falcon’s current cadence
Falcon completely changed access to orbit
And now Starship is being built to take this to entirely new level
