BREAKING: Alphabet (Google) has become JPMorgan Chase’s second-largest investment.
JPMorgan’s latest SEC filing disclosed that it bought 18,021,938 Alphabet Class C (GOOG) shares and 20,993,925 Class A (GOOGL) shares during Q2, worth approximately $13.9 billion as of June 30.
The bank held 137,833,254 Alphabet Class C shares and 91,919,476 Class A shares at the end of Q2, with a combined market value of nearly $81 billion as of June 30.
This makes Alphabet the second-largest holding in JPMorgan’s $1.8 trillion managed equity portfolio, behind Nvidia, which remains the portfolio’s largest holding.$SOL
