#dusk $DUSK @Dusk One thing crypto taught me is that visibility has a strange relationship with value.
We celebrate the fact that a blockchain can show every transaction. But in financial markets, information itself can be an asset.
If every position, movement, and interaction becomes permanently observable, transparency can start creating a different kind of risk.
That makes me look at @Dusk from another angle.
The interesting question isn’t simply whether DUSK can keep transactions private.
It’s whether a financial blockchain can make verification precise.
A regulator may need proof that a rule was followed.
A counterparty may need proof of ownership.
An investor may need to prove eligibility.
None of those requirements automatically mean everyone should receive the complete underlying data.
That distinction feels important.
Because the next phase of onchain finance may not be about putting more information onchain.
It may be about deciding which information deserves to stay there—and which information should remain private.
That’s a much harder problem to solve.
And potentially a much more useful one.
