#dusk $DUSK @Dusk
"Market infrastructure, not narrative" is the framing, but sitting with $DUSK and #Dusk material, the token's actual utility still runs through staking and gas, the same speculative loop every layer-1 uses to bootstrap security, while the infrastructure story is really about the settlement layer sitting on top of it, which doesn't require the token to be priced the way the market prices it. Those are two different value propositions living in one asset, and only one of them explains current trading behavior. Compared to how @Chainlink separated oracle infrastructure demand from LINK's staking-driven token mechanics, or how @Polymesh built its chain specifically around securities rails without needing a general-purpose narrative to justify the asset, Dusk is trying to be infrastructure-grade while still functioning as a normal speculative L1 token underneath. That gap between what the chain is built for and what the token is priced on doesn't resolve itself just because the roadmap says infrastructure. It might close over time, or it might just be what every "infrastructure" chain looks like before institutions actually show up. Hard to tell which one this is yet.
