I’ve started looking at @Dusk_Foundation less as another blockchain and more as a bet on where financial infrastructure is heading.
If tokenized securities, funds, and other real-world assets keep moving on-chain, the industry will eventually run into a problem: public blockchains are great at transparency, but financial institutions can’t necessarily expose every investor, transaction, or balance to everyone.
That’s the gap I think makes Dusk interesting.
Its focus on privacy, compliance, programmable assets, and settlement could become more relevant as institutions move from experimenting with tokenization toward actually using it.
But there’s a big “if” here.
Dusk still needs real users, deeper liquidity, developers, applications, and institutional adoption. And it isn’t competing in an empty market.
So I’m less interested in asking whether Dusk has good technology.
The question I’m watching is simpler:
Can Dusk become infrastructure that financial institutions actually depend on?
If that happens, the narrative around Dusk could look very different a few years from now.
