According to Wallstreetcn, South Korean Industry Minister Kim Jung-kwan said South Korea and the U.S. had made "quite meaningful progress" on Seoul's investment in the U.S., with the first project under discussion mainly involving the energy sector and expected to be announced in September. He said he held talks with U.S. Commerce Secretary Lutnick for two consecutive days during his visit, resolving several disputed issues, while some differences remain at the working level and the two sides will continue video meetings next week to try to settle the remaining issues.
