According to the announcement from Binance, Binance Wallet will launch the KGeN Trading Competition on Binance Alpha, with eligible users able to earn token rewards by trading KGeN (KGEN) through Binance Wallet (Keyless) or Binance Alpha during two promotion periods. The first promotion period runs from 2026-08-20 13:00 (UTC) to 2026-08-27 13:00 (UTC), and the second runs from 2026-08-27 13:00 (UTC) to 2026-09-03 13:00 (UTC). Users eligible to trade Binance Alpha tokens can participate, and rankings will be based on total KGEN purchase volume during the promotion periods. The top 2,000 users by purchase volume will share 590,000 KGEN tokens equally, which equals 295 KGEN per user. Binance said the competition is designed to place greater emphasis on early trading and consistent participation through two boost mechanisms: the Early Bird Boost Multiplier and the Rising Trader Boost Multiplier. The Early Bird Boost Multiplier gives higher weight to earlier trades, with daily effective trading volume calculated by multiplying actual trading volume by the applicable multiplier. The schedule includes 2.0x multipliers for the first two trading days of each promotion period, followed by 1.8x, 1.5x, 1.3x, and 1.0x multipliers on later days. The final ranking will be based on total effective trading volume across the promotion period.

Binance also introduced the Rising Trader Boost Multiplier for users who, as of three days before the promotion starts, have won rewards in fewer than 3 previous Binance Wallet Alpha trading competitions. Eligible Rising Traders will receive a 1.2x boost on actual trading volume, subject to a boost cap. If both boosts apply, effective trading volume will combine the Early Bird Boost and the Rising Trader Boost, with rankings determined by total effective trading volume during the promotion period. Binance said only trades executed via Binance Wallet (Keyless) or Binance Alpha on Binance Wallet will count, while third-party dApp transactions, selling activity, and token bridging transactions are excluded. Rewards will be claimable in KGEN tokens, and eligible users will be able to view and claim rewards through their Binance Alpha accounts or Binance Wallet (Keyless). Token rewards will be made available to eligible users before 2026-09-17 13:00:00 (UTC), and claims must be completed within 14 days after rewards become claimable.
