Today, the FOMC Minutes are being released.

Pakistan Time: 11:00 PM
New York Time: 2:00 PM
London Time: 7:00 PM

The FOMC Minutes are NOT a new interest rate decision.

They are the detailed record of the Federal Reserve’s previous meeting. They give us insight into what Fed members discussed regarding inflation, jobs, economic conditions, and future interest rates.

The market will mainly look for clues about what the Fed may do next.

If the Minutes are hawkish, meaning the Fed remains concerned about inflation and wants interest rates to stay high or potentially move higher, Bitcoin and the broader crypto market could face selling pressure.

If the Minutes are dovish, meaning the Fed shows greater concern about economic weakness and becomes more open to lowering interest rates, Bitcoin and crypto could react positively. If there is no major surprise, the crypto market may initially move sharply in both directions before settling down.

When the Minutes are released, don’t focus only on the first Bitcoin candle. Also keep an eye on the US Dollar, US Treasury yields, and the US stock market.

Their reactions can provide valuable clues about how the market is interpreting the Minutes.
