#termmax @TermMax

If my portfolio had a personality this week, it would probably be laughing at me.😀

I took profits on $RICE , $BTW , and $VELVET after their recent moves, and for a brief moment I convinced myself I was a market genius. 😅The market quickly reminded me that three good trades don't suddenly turn anyone into a macro strategist.

While looking for my next opportunity, I ended up researching fixed rate lending and stumbled onto something more interesting than price charts: how borrowing rates are actually discovered.

Traditional lending pools don't discover rates, they compute them mechanically from a utilization curve. Borrow more, the rate rises; repay debt, the rate falls. Nobody actively sets a price. An algorithm does.

TermMax takes a different approach. Through Range Orders, curators can create custom pricing curves and quote liquidity at specific maturities. Instead of accepting a formula generated rate, borrowers interact with liquidity providers who are actively expressing views on term risk and collateral quality.

That difference is already visible. TermMax supports 77 markets across 8 chains, including markets where users can borrow USDC against sUSDe at rates below the underlying yield. Those opportunities exist because collateral-specific risk is being priced directly rather than through a one size fits all utilization model.

The protocol has generated roughly $19.9K in fees over the past 30 days, representing real activity driven by rate formation and execution.

Fair borrowing costs, it turns out, may not come from algorithms alone. They may come from markets where participants are willing to price uncertainty and occasionally be wrong.
