Would you want your bank account to be completely public? 👀
Probably not.
And that’s one of the biggest problems with putting traditional finance on a public blockchain. Imagine a bank, fund or large investor putting billions on-chain. They need the benefits of blockchain. But they also need privacy. You probably don’t want everyone to see:
→ How much you own
→ What assets you’re buying
→ Where your money is moving
→ What positions your company is taking
That’s why I’m watching Dusk. The idea is pretty simple: Bring financial assets on-chain without making all sensitive information public.
Dusk is building blockchain infrastructure focused on privacy, compliance and regulated financial assets. For me, this is much more interesting than another blockchain trying to compete for memecoins. If stocks, bonds and other financial assets really start moving on-chain, they will need infrastructure that institutions can actually use.
The big question is: Can Dusk turn this idea into real adoption?
Because if RWA becomes a major part of crypto, privacy might become just as important as transparency. 👀
