Japan-listed Metaplanet has agreed to invest 2,100 BTC worth roughly $132.1M, plus $2.5M in cash, into Nasdaq-listed Super League Enterprise.
The deal is valued at around $134.6M and will give Metaplanet approximately 95.7% ownership of the company’s common stock.
Following the closing, Super League is expected to be renamed Superplanet, Inc., with its ticker potentially changing from SLE to SUPA.
