Most blockchains talk about "regulated finance" as a direction they're headed toward, someday. Dusk Network took a different route: it partnered with someone who already had the actual paperwork in hand.
In December 2024, German regulator BaFin granted 21X the first license in Europe for a DLT-based trading and settlement system. That's real permission to issue, trade, and settle securities natively on a blockchain, granted only after eighteen months of regulatory review.
Dusk's partnership with 21X gives it a working line to that same regulatory status, rather than starting the application from zero.
