The more I look into Dusk, the more I think the interesting part isn’t simply “privacy on a blockchain.” It’s how privacy is being designed around actual financial use cases.
Phoenix uses a UTXO-based model with zero-knowledge proofs, allowing transactions to be validated without exposing the underlying transaction details. For financial applications, that kind of confidentiality can be important when sensitive information shouldn’t be visible to everyone.
What I find interesting is the balance Dusk is trying to achieve: privacy without giving up the ability to build useful, regulated financial infrastructure.
I’m curious to see how far this approach can go as more financial assets move on-chain.
