#dusk $DUSK @Dusk So i finally spent an evening with @Dusk and i get it now.
This one feels like a real person typing at 2am after actually using it:

everyone says "privacy blockchain" and i immediately think mixer, dark, unusable. this isn't that.

i was on DuskEVM testnet, just trying a basic solidity deploy. felt normal. hardhat worked. but then i tried Hedger.

the way it works is almost boring in a good way. you send something, the explorer shows from -> to, clear as day. but the amount? encrypted. your actual holding? encrypted. i checked twice thinking i messed up.

that's when it hit me. they aren't hiding people. they're hiding numbers. and they did it with homomorphic encryption + zk so the chain can still verify without seeing.

and that XSC thing they talk about - Confidential Security Contract - it's not hype. it's literally how you make a tokenized stock obey transfer restrictions, onboarding, all that real-world annoying stuff. without breaking privacy.

i've touched a lot of L1s that claim RWA. most feel like wrappers. this one feels like it was built with a compliance officer in the room.

weirdly practical. i wasn't expecting that.
