HUTCHMED said the combination of ORPATHYS and TAGRISSO showed statistically and clinically meaningful improvements in progression-free survival and overall survival in patients with MET-driven EGFR-mutated lung cancer whose disease progressed after TAGRISSO treatment, according to Ming Pao.
The company said the results from the SAFFRON phase III study further reinforce TAGRISSO's position as a cornerstone therapy for EGFR-mutated lung cancer. HUTCHMED said it is the first global phase III trial in this disease setting to show significant benefit in both progression-free survival and overall survival.
