At first, I thought the most interesting thing about Dusk was simply putting financial workflows on-chain without making everything public.
But the deeper I looked, the more I realized how much sensitive information moves through financial processes: customer records, payment amounts, counterparties, settlement details, reporting, and more.
All of these pieces need to work together, but that doesn’t mean everyone should have access to every detail.
That’s what stands out to me about Dusk: the ability to verify what happened without exposing everything that happened.
The workflow continues. The checks still happen. The financial system stays verifiable, while sensitive information can remain private.
And honestly, that feels more important than simply making finance faster.
If on-chain finance can deliver verification without sacrificing privacy, wouldn’t that be a much better model for real financial markets?
