@Dusk_Foundation Dusk Network caught my attention for a simple reason: it is looking at privacy from the perspective of financial applications. Public blockchains are useful because everything can be verified, but finance does not always work well when every detail is exposed. Dusk is building a Layer-1 around confidential smart contracts and its XSC standard, aiming to give applications a way to keep sensitive information private while still allowing important rules to be verified.
What matters to me is what happens beyond the technology. Crypto has plenty of projects with good ideas that never find real users. Dusk will face the same test. Developers need to actually build on it, financial applications need to attract users, and the network needs to prove that privacy solves a real problem rather than simply sounding good.
So I’m not rushing to a conclusion. The idea makes sense, but adoption is what will decide whether it matters. I’d rather watch real usage, developer activity, and applications than follow another wave of hype. The technology is interesting. The real question is whether people actually need it.
