I’ve been going down the Dusk rabbit hole and honestly... I like the idea more than I expected.

What caught me is the focus on privacy for financial applications. Public blockchains are great for transparency, but I keep thinking about how uncomfortable that becomes when you’re dealing with serious financial assets. You don’t want every competitor and random wallet watcher seeing everything forever.

The XSC approach is interesting too. Privacy, compliance, ownership rules, transfers... it feels like Dusk is trying to solve some of the boring problems that actually matter if blockchain is ever going to handle real financial markets.

But I’m still skeptical.

Crypto has taught me that good technology doesn’t automatically mean adoption. I’ve seen projects with amazing ideas basically disappear because nobody used them.

That’s my main question with Dusk... will real institutions and users actually need this enough to create sustained activity?

If the answer is yes, I think Dusk could become pretty interesting. If not, then it’s just another technically impressive chain sitting there waiting for people to care.

So yeah, I’m watching it closely, but I’m not blindly bullish. I want to see real assets, real users, real liquidity and actual demand.

The idea makes sense.

Now I want to see the usage.
