Dusk positions itself as a privacy-focused Layer-1 built for financial applications. Its approach centers around the Confidential Security Contract (XSC) standard and confidential smart contracts, aiming to make blockchain-based financial activity more private without abandoning programmable infrastructure.
What I find interesting is the balance it is trying to address: financial applications need transparency and verifiability, but they also deal with information that shouldn’t necessarily be exposed publicly.
That makes privacy an infrastructure question, not just a feature.
I’m still watching how Dusk’s technology translates into real adoption and whether developers and financial applications actually choose its ecosystem over more established alternatives.
