Foreign investors have started buying South Korean shares on a net basis for several consecutive sessions. According to Sina Finance, the shift comes after months of outflows from Asian equities driven by concerns over AI capital spending and chip demand.

London Stock Exchange Group data showed that foreign investors sold a net $25.48 billion of stocks across Asian markets in July, with South Korea seeing the heaviest selling. In August, however, South Korea's outflows narrowed, and the Korea Exchange said foreigners posted consecutive net purchases from August 11 to August 13, totaling more than 5 trillion won.
