You have to look at the Sun and actually understand the scale of what we're looking at
Earth is basically a tiny dot next to it....and the amount of energy available from the Sun makes almost anything we can harvest locally on Earth look like a dust mote in comparison

Even most of the energy humanity uses today ultimately traces back to the Sun in one way or another

We are surrounded by an almost unimaginable amount of energy....if we ever want energy at that scale, we have to start aiming directly at the source
