I don’t see Dusk as just another privacy narrative.
I see a much harder challenge: how do you make financial activity verifiable without exposing sensitive information to the entire world?
That is where Dusk gets interesting.
Its Layer-1 combines confidential transactions, zero-knowledge technology and selective disclosure, while its XSC standard is built with privacy-aware financial assets in mind.
But what really catches my attention is the execution.
The AEGIS security work identified 39 findings, including seven critical issues, while the team also disclosed a bridge incident involving a compromised signing wallet and detailed steps to strengthen security.
Then came Dusk Connect and its first-party wallet, pushing the ecosystem toward a smoother user experience.
To me, this is the part that matters.
Security research, wallet infrastructure and developer tooling may not generate the loudest hype, but they are exactly what real financial infrastructure needs.
