I still think the interesting part of Dusk isn’t just the EVM compatibility.
I checked where $DUSK actually sits today: roughly a $30.24M market cap, about $3.48M in 24h trading volume, and 499M DUSK circulating.
For a network targeting regulated onchain markets, that makes the next phase more interesting to watch. The infrastructure is becoming increasingly specific: DuskEVM is an OP Stack-based EVM environment, while DuskDS handles settlement and data availability.
Even the deployment setup tells a story: DuskEVM has Mainnet chain ID 744 and Testnet chain ID 745.
So I’m less interested in whether Dusk can build the rails — they’re clearly being built.
The bigger question is whether a relatively small market can turn that infrastructure into meaningful regulated financial activity at scale.
Does Dusk’s architecture give it an edge when regulated assets move onchain, or will attracting that activity be the harder part?
