I Don’t Buy the First Breakout
A breakout is easy to notice.
The harder part is deciding whether it deserves a trade.
My checklist is simple:
→ Resistance breaks
→ Price holds above it
→ Volume doesn’t disappear
→ Retest stays constructive
→ Higher-timeframe structure agrees
If those pieces don’t line up, I’m comfortable doing nothing.
Missing one move costs less than forcing a trade on a setup that never confirmed.i
