I Took My Fee Math to Binance Support. Here's Exactly What They Said.
I didn't just do the math and complain online. I opened a real support case first. Two of them.
I gave them everything: 5 years, 29,401 trades, 51.74% win rate — a coin flip. Market losses of $2,960.38. Fees of $4,425.36. A $668.50 deduction hiding behind the word "refund." Total: -$8,054.23.
First response: "I completely understand you feel frustrated about the fees... however, refunding of trading fees is not something we can provide as per our policy."
I asked to speak to someone above the queue — a supervisor, someone in finance, anyone who could actually look at the policy itself.
Response: "I'm afraid the outcome will still be the same... there are certain requests that we are not able to fulfil."
Then they checked my numbers themselves — and confirmed them. My transaction history reconciled perfectly. No missing money. No discrepancy. They agreed with my math.
They just don't think it's their problem.
I'm not writing this because a support agent was rude — they weren't. They were polite, professional, honest about the limits of what they could do. That's what makes this worse. This isn't one bad agent. This is the policy, working exactly as designed.
A coin-flip trader lost more to fees than to the market itself. Binance confirmed the numbers. The answer was still no.
I'm still here. Still trading, still watching the charts, still doing the math nobody else will do for me.
Binance just looked away.
Do your own math. Open your own case. See what they tell you.
